In her role as the events marketing manager within Siemens Healthcare, Andrea Boos manages large trade shows and events, including overall program ownership for Siemens' participation at the annual convention for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). This convention is the largest health-care, information-technology event in the United States. In addition, she is responsible for driving return on investment for a variety of trade shows related to health-care IT.

Erica Deri is the events coordinator at Genetec Inc., a global provider of world-class IP license-plate recognition, video surveillance, and access-control solutions. Deri joined Genetec as a marketing analyst back in 2005, and now oversees its participation in events and trade shows on a global scale. Since joining the company, Deri has witnessed year-over-year growth of 50 percent in the number of events Genetec participates in.

Ranae Hansen is the director of trade show and event technology services at CTS/Triad. In her more than 19 years of domestic and international trade show- and event-marketing experience, she has managed event-marketing programs for both a medical-device and software organization, and has acted as a corporate trade show/event manager and account-services representative for a global exhibit house. She is currently working as a consultant for a major ERP technology organization, where she works in collaboration with vertical business units to develop annual trade show plans and align them with corporate strategy and budgetary goals.

As Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc.’s, manager, corporate events, Steven Marchese manages more than 35 trade shows and events annually. In addition to his extensive event and trade show experience, his career includes work in advertising, publishing, and direct-mail marketing. He holds a Masters in Cinema Studies from New York University, and using his background in theatre and film produces trade shows and events with the goal of creating memorable audience experiences. Marchese is a faculty member at EXHIBITOR2012, serves on the editorial advisory board of EXHIBITOR magazine, and is proud to give back to the industry through his work as a CTSM portfolio advisor.
Allison Saget

Allison Saget is president of her event-marketing consulting firm as well as a speaker, marketer, and author of “The Event Marketing Handbook: Beyond Logistics and Planning.” Her expertise includes developing strategies for trade shows, conferences, product launches, sports hospitality events, partner sponsorship programs, press- and analyst-relations efforts, executive functions, and sales events.
In her 20-year marketing career, she has created, designed, and managed more than 1,000 events, and worked in advertising, television, collateral design and production, logo merchandising, and direct marketing. Her clients and work experience have included such companies as Accenture, StarCite Inc., Harcourt Achieve, Oracle Corp., Tektronix, Procore Technologies Inc., DigitalThink Inc., Cardinal Business Media Inc., and USA Cable Network.
Rob Stout

Rob Stout brings a broad base of knowledge to the director of production position for Encore Productions Inc. He studied economics and then pursued a career at the Chicago board of trade. Fortunately, he soon realized that a career change was needed and found his way out West to join Encore Productions.
Stout has been with the company for more than eight years and has held many positions over that time period. His production career started in the logistics division and then moved on to managing some of the biggest convention and meeting venues in the world. These positions provided exposure to all phases of the audiovisual production world as well as the logistical challenges that face each event. After getting a feel for venue operations, a move to the production side of Encore’s central office followed in 2009. Stout currently works closely with his show-management team to meet and exceed the expectations of Encore’s clients.
Marc Wallis,
Events program manager,
Intel Corp., Portland, OR
Currently working for the corporate events marketing group in the sales and marketing division, Marc Wallis joined Intel Corp. in 1984, working in various groups including assembly/test manufacturing, site IT and the e-business group.
Wallis has been a program manager with the events and trade show teams since 2003 and has worked on programs across the United States, as well as several internationally, ranging from the large shows like the International Consumer Electronics Show and Mobile World Congress, to co-marketing events with Microsoft Corp. and Sony Corp. of America, to seminars for the IT audience and custom events for the United Nations GAID council or Intel product launches. He is currently the program manager for Intel’s annual Developer Forum (IDF).
Wallis also spends time internally developing and delivering training for the event staff for some of Intel’s larger events. Though he is an active participant in various social-networking activities, he’s also active with Intel’s Web Marketing team to help with their social-media activities including: blogging on their consumer, technology, and IT communities on intel.com; working with the team that created Intel’s island and experience in Second Life; creating videos captured at events then used to extend both message and experience; and participating with the PC.com team as one of its “tech guy personalities.”
