Kathy Kennedy, CTSM (1999)
Meeting Operations Manager, Materials Research Society - PA
Since earning the CTSM designation in 1999, KathyI attained additional credentials (CMP-Certified Meeting Professional in 1999; CME-Certified Manager of Exhibits in 2000; and CMM-Certification in Meeting Management in 2000). So far she’s one of only two (that we know of) who has earned quadruple credentials in the trade show, events and meetings industry.

In 2000 and 2001 Kathy developed and presented sessions at Exhibitor Show. Her “Basics of Event Planning and Management” course became a required CTSM course in 2001. She has also served as a moderator for a roundtable titled “Details that Make Events Extraordinary” and served as a panelist for “How Much Are You Worth?” and “Exhibitor Show Orientation: Maximizing Your Exhibitor Show Experience.”

Six months after being recognized as a CTSM graduate Kathy started a new position as Meeting Operations Manager at Materials Research Society (MRS). She enjoys her work there and continues with them to date.
