I joined Websense in April of 2000. At that time Websense had just completed its IPO and was getting ready to establish itself as the market leader in the Employee Internet Management space. I was hired to manage the existing program while evaluating the market space for new event opportunities. Since joining, I have taken the event program from 12 to over 50 events worldwide, working closely with all of the worldwide marketing departments. This requires extensive worldwide travel of more than 100,000 flight miles a year.
My background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in Sacramento, more than eight years experience in travel and event planning, and professional affiliations with Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) and Computer Event Management Association (CEMA).
