Think you can’t use a retractable banner stand as a tabletop display? Think again. With Siegel Display Products’ horizontal trade show table banner, setting up your next tabletop exhibit is a breeze. Simply position the support braces and extend the horizontal table banner to its full width. What’s even better is that dismantling the tabletop display is just as easy, as the 38-inch-wide banner just retracts into a compact canister for easy shipping when released from the support braces. The sturdy metal canister that holds the table banner measures 34 inches tall.

You can truly say it with pictures with Polyplastic Forms Inc.’s custom-printed vinyl signs. The product can transform photographs into letters, creating text to spell out your message that can be stuck to almost any flat surface, with no support structure needed. The vinyl signs can be created in virtually any color and shape. Polyplastic can manufacture exhibit or event signage up to 5 feet high and as wide as needed. The signs feature different adhesive options such as low or high stickiness, or static cling (which requires no glue), that enable you to attach the display on a variety of surfaces, such as glass or plastic.

You no longer need a computer, a kiosk, or even a paper survey form to poll your in-booth visitors. With the ResponseCard AnyWhere from Turning Technologies LLC, booth staffers can see attendees’ answers in moments. The ResponseCard AnyWhere system includes a handheld receiver with an LCD screen about the size of a deck of cards, along with credit card-sized wireless keypads attendees use to indicate their responses. A staffer asks a question or a series of questions, and attendees answer with a simple push of a button — no paper, no problem. The receiver can be hooked up to a computer via USB cable, allowing you to upload the information and print it as needed.

The next time your booth visitors want company or product information, tell them to Snipp it. With the Snipp service from Consumer Impulse Inc., staffers simply provide attendees with a code word for the specific product or company information they desire, and they use their cell phones or PDAs to text that word to 76477 (S-N-I-P-P). Once the service receives the text, it requests that person’s e-mail address, then immediately sends the attendee your customized text message and an e-mail with their requested information.

Let the contacts you made at the trade show know they haven’t been forgotten with ListeNation Corp.’s Prerecorded Follow-up System. With the PFS automated call system, booth visitors find thank-you messages from your sales force in their voicemail when they return to the office after the show. When they return the calls, they are connected with a live salesperson ready to do business. For those attendees who don’t return the call, a second prerecorded message goes out a week after the show, and a third call goes out the following week thanking non-responsive leads for their interest.

Give your exhibit presentation more versatility with ShowLogic, a presentation platform from The Catevo Group. The ShowLogic software, designed to be used by sales and marketing professionals, allows immediate access to files, letting presenters follow a more natural conversational format compared to the more linear PowerPoint format. It can be used on laptops, presentation screens, and kiosks, where attendees can access the presentation materials firsthand, viewing company and product information and registering their feedback on what they saw. After the show, valuable lead-tracking data also can be gathered from the kiosk.
