Leave your exhibit toolbox at home. You won’t need it with Accenta Inc.’s new PopUp Elite wall display. The lock and hook connectors traditionally found in pop-up displays have been replaced with high-density “super magnets,” which not only eliminate the need for tools, they also reduce the weight of the display. Plus, the lack of protruding parts and sharp edges cuts down on graphics damage. The PopUp Elite can be used as a single- or double-sided 10-foot wall.

Three-dimensional technology adds a definite wow factor to your exhibit, but putting the technology into attendees’ hands is even better. Blue Telescope’s Aurora Interactive 3-D software reads a specially printed black-and-white tag. Exhibitors can mail the tag to attendees, drop it in show bags, or distribute it in their exhibits. When booth visitors manipulate the card in front of a video camera, the program tells the computer to replace the tag with a 3-D image of your logo, product, or just about anything else, which then appears on a monitor. As the attendee moves the card, the on-screen image responds, following the movement. Aurora can be used with any video camera and Aurora-equipped computer, or on a laptop with a Web cam.
