Move over, Chia Pet. Naturexhibits’ VEG (short for Vertical Exhibit Gardens) is an entirely organic, floradisplay technology designed around a soilless growth medium that allows a variety of living plants to cover vertical and curved surfaces. You can also use the VEG to surround three-dimensional objects of all sizes and to “carpet” entire ceilings. VEG replaces conventional print media with plant media specifically grown to accurately match your company’s branding, color schemes, font styles, and logo in lively detail.

OK, so it’s not a giant pillow. But the convenient pillowcase-and-zipper design of the 10-foot Sophora Tensioned Fabric Display sure makes it easy to attach double-sided graphics — and let your messaging do the talking for you. Manufactured by PosterGarden, the Sophora’s proprietary connector system — which features hands-free locking pins — obviates the need for tools and makes for easy assembly of the display’s aircraft-grade aluminum framework. Full-color graphics are printed on EcoKnit fabric, which is 100-percent recyclable. Optional accessories include a hard carrying case with a foam-molded interior and halogen or LED accent lighting.

With its multiple data-capture options and badge-swipe functionality, the euroPod kiosk by Showcraft makes the perfect command post for gatekeepers to track admissions to your demo, product presentation, or other booth activity. At the same time, the oblong-shaped kiosk, which measures 82-by-47 inches, boasts double-sided fabric displays and full-color laminate panels that ensure your messaging and corporate branding remain front and center for the show’s duration. What’s more, the product’s lightweight, aluminum design and modest 50-by-25-by-26-inch dimensions when disassembled and packed make transporting the euroPod a whole lot less expensive than any trip you might take across the pond.

Signature Systems’ EcoDeck offers exhibitors an alternative to conventional raised wood floors. EcoDeck raised floors are tough enough to support loads of up to 16,000 pounds, yet sufficiently lightweight — typically 50 percent lighter than wood — that a team of two can assemble a floor measuring 1,000 square feet in 30 minutes or less. Manufactured from recycled plastic, EcoDeck is shipped in preassembled panels. Each panel comprises four 19.75-by-19.75-inch tiles that lock together securely without the need for tools, metal fittings, or fasteners. Finished edging and a variety of surface laminates are available to create custom exhibit floors of all sizes that can be raised up to 4 inches above the ground.

The Expand BrochurePocket from Expand International reminds us that sometimes the simplest of ideas can be the smartest. A durable, transparent literature holder, the Expand BrochurePocket attaches to any graphic panel with the use of — drum roll please — simple magnets supplied by the manufacturer. The BrochurePocket can accommodate standard letter-sized brochures as well as A4-sized brochures, which are popular in Europe. Package dimensions for shipping are roughly 6.5 inches wide, 12.75 inches high, and 3 inches deep. It weighs 1.7 pounds.

Short on booth space, but long on brand messaging? No problem. Advent Firm’s three-sided, rotating wall display allows you to communicate more information than a typical static wall graphic — even when constrained by a crowded trade show floor. Comprising four wooden, pyramid-shaped panels suspended vertically, the wall features a specialized motor and braking system to automate rotation. The panels rotate one-third of a turn three times per minute to create 20-second viewing intervals for each of the three sides. Vinyl graphics are scored to fit the entire surface area of each panel, and the panels are then enclosed within an exterior wall frame to which graphics can also be applied. Functioning as a single unit, the wall’s frame and four rotating panels stand 8 feet tall and 12 feet wide, but the entire structure can be fabricated in other sizes to accommodate various booth configurations.
