| The 23-session required core curriculum and five elective sessions, including courses in Strategic Financial Planning, ROI Analysis, Event and Trade Show Synergy and more, will have both you and your employer reaping clear financial benefits. After completion of the coursework, candidates take a comprehensive exam and submit a written portfolio which documents how they have applied their training on the job to improve their tradeshow/event program. |
All courses are taught by some of the industry’s most prominent leaders and innovators, under the direction of an independent review board in conjunction with Northern Illinois University Outreach. HOW DO I FIT CTSM INTO MY LIFE?

| We know your job is already demanding. Although rigorous, the certification process is designed specifically for people in fastpaced positions who don’t have a lot of free time. Move through the program at your own pace, typically from one to three years. |
Mentors are available for those who request one, and graduate advisors will assist you through your portfolio development. Designed for the working professional, CTSM classes are offered at EXHIBITOR2012, EXHIBITORFastTrak and EXHIBITOR eTrak. |

Yes. We respect your experience and the time you’ve already put into your career. Trade show and event managers who have
five or more years of experience are eligible to replace some of the more basic CTSM required courses with an optional elective session.
Look for this symbol in the session descriptions for CTSM courses designed for those with five years of industry experience. |
