If you’re new to the industry or need a fast way to jump-start your learning curve, here’s one day that can save you months of on-the-job training. This fast-paced class of strategic and tactical exhibiting basics can help both rookies and veterans alike. You'll learn the basics of:

•  Setting measurable goals and objectives

•  Industry rules and regulations

•  Exhibit types and booth space selection

•  Staff and vendor communication

•  Lead gathering and management

•  Ordering show services and specialized transportation

•  Working with unions to install and dismantle your exhibits

•  Budgeting and cost-cutting tips

Candy Adams CTSM, CME, CEM, CMP, CMM a.k.a. "The Booth Mom®" Candy is a veteran freelance exhibit and event project manager who helps companies who don’t have a full-time exhibit manager or have overlapping shows/events. With a passion for helping industry rookies hit the ground running, she also provides one-on-one on-site exhibit management training to rookie exhibitors and corporate exhibit-management group training programs. As a certified trainer for The Hill Group, she provides exhibit staff boothmanship training and coaching to corporate exhibitors. Adams, a longtime EXHIBITOR magazine columnist of “Exhibiting 101” and freelance writer, has published over 400 industry articles and has been on the EXHIBITOR Show faculty since 1995.
