LEDs, Color Temperature, and You!

Color temperature and the use of LED sources are two central issues facing lighting and exhibit designers. This session will explore color, the human response and practical ways to embrace 'new technology' in the lighting field. Attendees will learn:

•  A greater understanding of color and the human response sand how it can empower designers and planners to better control the visitor experience

•  Awareness and understanding of color temperature as a 'zero cost' design decision

•  Tools and knowledge to provide design consistency in the way an event is perceived

•  Review and discussion of complex and difficult to compare LED sources and hands on 'light lab' experiments will result in the knowledge to to make an empowered decision Concluding with real world case studies and examples, attendees will leave the session with demonstrable, clear, real world useable tools and a greater understanding of the way lighting can play a role in their design and execution process.
