Supplier Forum - What Suppliers Must Know for Success

Specifically designed for and limited to industry suppliers and moderated by an attorney who works strictly with suppliers, this session explores a variety of "hot" issues currently impacting suppliers including trends, changing laws and contracting issues. Suppliers are encouraged to submit specific issues, contract clauses or scenarios to discuss to kbagnall@dykema.com in advance. We’ll cover:

•  Recognizing trends and changing laws that affect suppliers

•  Understand contracting issues, particularly as they apply to suppliers

•  Learn how external forces are impacting suppliers

Kelly Bagnall has represented hotel and resort owners and management companies in virtually all aspects of operational matters, handling disputes involving litigation, arbitration and attending to risk management and security issues for hotel management companies nationwide. Kelly is a member with the law firm of Dykema Gossett PLLC, a member of the State Bar of Texas, as well as a member of the Professional Convention Management Association, Meeting Professionals International, and Association of Hospitality Industry Attorneys.

Amber Taylor Welock is an experienced litigator with the law firm of Dykema Gossett PLLC, representing clients in commercial and civil actions across the country and also providing business counseling on various operational and risk matters. She assists clients in a variety of areas, including contract disputes, business torts, products/premises liability, deceptive trade practices/consumer protection laws, creditor's rights/collection matters, labor and employment matters, violations of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and anti-trust issues.
