Larry Keeley

What matters most to people now? (A perspective on breakthrough forms.)

Larry Keeley is the man BusinessWeek called “Mr. Metric” -- an innovation strategist and one of a handful of people who are inventing a new science of innovation. That places him in the small pack of consultants that chief executives invariably call on.  His company, the Doblin consulting firm in Chicago is “the leading consultant in innovation metrics and training” according to the Microsoft Executive Circle. His goal: to build a science of innovation effectiveness. "The worst mistake is to have everyone running off generating a million ideas," says Keeley. "The goal is to focus on a very few, very bold ideas that tend to work, as opposed to many, many ideas all over the place that tend to fail."     length 9:53
