MG Exhibit Design Excellence Scholarship Application Deadline is October 15
Applications are now being accepted for MG Design’s second annual Michael Grivas, Sr. Exhibit Design Excellence Scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to an exemplary student seeking a degree in an exhibit design-related field in mid-January 2014 for their upcoming semester along with paid travel to EXHIBITOR2014 where they will be honored for their accomplishments.
The Exhibit Design Excellence Scholarship was created to nurture and encourage the study of exhibit design by talented students who combine their understanding of design principles and technology with a solid marketing and business foundation to create innovative exhibit environments. It is because MG strongly believes that attracting and retaining talented design students is essential to fostering continued innovation that the scholarship was founded in memory of MG’s founder Michael Grivas, a talented designer, industrious entrepreneur and industry visionary.
“Our team was absolutely inspired by the talent we saw in last year’s submissions and we are eager to see this year’s entries. These students are smart, creative and resourceful. They are being trained to enter this industry where many of us learned through on the job training,” said Michael W. Grivas. “Getting to know these students is tremendously rewarding for our entire team. It makes us all feel good about the future of our industry and we are thrilled to help these students build their futures in exhibit design.”
The Michael Grivas, Sr. Exhibit Design Excellence™ Scholarship program is an annual scholarship awarded to an exemplary student seeking a degree in an exhibit design-related field. To be considered, applicants must:
