kubik Adds Four New Team Members
In order to keep up with a compelling year of growth and success, kubik - a leader in the transformation of conventional services in the exhibit industry - is please to announce four new team members to the corporate team: Located in Chicago; David Brull as Vice President for New Business Development. Located our of our Head Office: Janet Balfour as Director of Human Resources, Gina Merianos as Corporate Account Manager, and Mike Makovnyk as Vice President for New Business Development.
David Brull, Vice President for New Business Development
David Brull has 15 years of experience in integrated marketing, experiential marketing, marketing communications, sales, and event management. After serving as Vice President, Marketing and Membership for the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), he has since worked for exhibit and event agencies.
Located in the city of Chicago, David believes in being an active member of both the national and Chicago area marketing community by serving on the Business Marketing Association (BMA) Chicago Chapter's Membership Committee and Co-Chairing the Exhibit and Event Marketers Association (E2MA) Membership Committee.
David has spoken and presented at numerous meetings and events including EXHIBITOR Conference, TS2, E2MA Red Diamond Congress, and Social Media Week of a variety of subjects including Building Strategic Connections, What Your Exhibit House Can Do For You, and Integrating Social Media into Events.

Janet Balfour, Director of Human Resources
Janet Balfour is a versatile Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) with over 15 years of human resource experience. Janet has held a number of senior roles and has worked in a variety of sectors, most recently serving as Vice President, HR and Corporate Services for a company in the transportation industry prior to joining Kubik, where she holds the role of Director, HR. In her current role, she oversees all facets of HR and provides leadership and direction to the senior management team. Janet obtained her CHRP designation in 1999.
Janet is an active member in her community. For the past 8 years she is on the planning committee for the Terry Fox Run and she currently holds the role of Treasurer for a local sports team.

Gina Merianos, Corporate Account Manager
Gina comes to kubik with more than 17 years of international, cross-platform experiential marketing, promotions and public relations experience for some of the biggest technology, automotive, consumer package goods, hospitality and retail brands in the world. She is an accomplished senior-level account manager with leadership experience on both the client and agency side. Gina is strives to maximize a brand's full potential by elevating the customer experience, and delivering exceptional client service and bottom-line results. Kubik is pleased to have her join the Account Management team.

Mike Makovnyk, Vice President for New Business Development
kubik is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Makovnyk as Vice President for New Business Development. Located at our head office in Toronto, Canada, Mike is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for our International Exhibit and Event business.
Mike has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and has enjoyed over 15 years of business development experience in the exhibit industry. Mike brings a wealth of experience to all sectors of the industry including an affinity for the Experiential capacity of the business.
Amongst many achievements and programs, Mike's history includes his responsibility for the business development with the Microsoft XBOX exhibit featured at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This program received multiple awards including The Best of 25 Years with EXHIBITOR magazine's Event Design awards.
