Nimlok Raises over $19,000 for the Over The Rainbow Association
Nimlok, one of the world's premier providers of custom, custom modular and portable trade show exhibits raised over $19,000 to benefit individuals with disabilities, in the Over the Rainbow Association's 6th Annual Rainbow Challenge Tour.
On September 22nd Nimlok team members, including participants from Nimlok Chicago, one of Nimlok's distributor partners, departed from the Evanston Ecology Center in Evanston, IL and traveled 25-100 mile scenic routes along Lake Michigan and through the North Shore neighborhoods. The ride was held in conjunction with North Shore Century, one of Chicago's premier bike events.
Nimlok matched all donations raised by their employees, bringing the team fundraising total to $19,040, nearly double the team goal, all of which will go to benefit the Over the Rainbow Association, an Illinois non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with physical disabilities through affordable, barrier-free housing solutions.
"We had a terrific turnout from the Nimlok family in response to the Over the Rainbow Challenge ride," said Nimlok Chairman Simon Perutz. "I'm proud to say our team rode a combined total of over 500 miles for this great cause."
