CEIR Foundation Silent Auction Features Enticing Packages
The Center for Exhibition Industry Research Foundation (CEIR Foundation) announced it is kicking off a special silent auction providing exhibitions, events and meetings organizers with access to several destination/experiential travel packages donated by travel industry organizations.
This is the first silent auction launched by the CEIR Foundation in 10 years and it is an online auction providing instant, state-of-the-art online and mobile access from anywhere. Proceeds will benefit the CEIR Foundation which will fund essential research and education to benefit the exhibitions and events industry. All industry professionals, and those interested in booking events with one of these destinations, are invited to participate by visiting the online auction at www.biddingforgood.com/ceirfsilentauction. Bidders will be notified via text message or email when they have been outbid and given the opportunity to increase their bids.
The auction is now open and runs through Expo! Expo! IAEE's Annual Meeting and Exhibition which closes on 12 December 2013 at 4 p.m. ET. During Expo! Expo! a leaderboard in the registration area will provide details on bidding progress. Bidders and convention attendees will be able to follow bidding right from the floor of the convention center and share in the excitement of funds raised to benefit the CEIR Foundation's mission.
CEIR Foundation Executive Director David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA said, "We are grateful to our members, colleagues, and friends who donated packages. This exciting program extends beyond IAEE and CEIR members to provide all travel enthusiasts with an opportunity to share in the excitement of exploring new travel destinations and experiences while benefiting the important work of the CEIR Foundation."
CEIR is also a partner in Destination Bid: Atlanta, an innovative program promoting Atlanta as a meeting destination, which is an alliance between CEIR, the Georgia World Congress Center, and Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
