IAEE Mexico Chapter Energized with Tarsus/E.J. Krause Joint Venture Announcement
With the announcement late last week regarding from IAEE members Tarsus Group plc and E.J. Krause & Associates announcing the joint venture between the two companies in which Tarsus agreed to acquire a 50 percent interest in two major exhibitions owned by EJK, the IAEE Chapter in Mexico is reporting a renewed interest in the exhibitions and events industry – both in Mexico and globally, and the economic impact these events will have on the economy in Mexico.
The joint venture called E.J. Krause Tarsus Events LLC will run Plastimagen México and Expo Manufactura, Mexico's leading metalworking/manufacturing exhibition. This agreement creates a new and important partnership in the evolving exhibition market in Mexico, and EJK will continue to manage the events moving forward.
IAEE Mexico Chapter President Horacio Vazquez said, "It is exciting and satisfying to be part of an industry that reinforces the value of face-to-face events and the impact they bring to the global marketplace. These two events will undoubtedly strengthen the exhibition industry in Mexico through this acquisition and bring new life and growth to our economy."
In October, a formal ceremony was held to launch the IAEE Chapter in Mexico. IAEE has had a very long and fruitful relationship with the Mexican exhibitions and events industry.
