Access TCA Acquires Majority Stake in Nuvista

Access TCA has acquired majority stake in Dallas-based, award-winning, I&D and audiovisual supplier, Nuvista Event Management. This purchase greatly expands Access’ service offerings and furthers Access’ evolution into a fully integrated exhibit and event management company.

Mike Yag, CEO and founder of Access, said, “This brings our long, successful relationship to a new level. Many of our clients have been working with Nuvista for years, and now, with this more formal relationship, Access becomes a cost-effective, single source for exhibitors, offering the advantages of a general contractor but with far more transparency and without the inherent conflicts of interest.”

Nuvista will continue to operate as an independent company under the watch of founder, president and CEO, Amanda Helgemoe. According to Helgemoe, “For Nuvista’s direct clients, it’s business as usual, but we are now supported by expanded systems, training and staff. We’ll continue to focus on delivering reliable, high-touch service in every convention venue.”

Amy Sondrup, VP at Access adds, “Both Access and Nuvista have long been vocal advocates for transparency and the reduction of non-performing costs. This new level of operational alignment will go a long way to continuing that mission on behalf of our clients.”

Mr. Yag, Ms. Sondrup, Linda Davis, VP, Finance, and Jon Ellms, VP/Principal, Access, have joined Ms. Helgemoe on Nuvista’s board of directors.
