RMC Opens New Office in Austin, TX
RMC is opening its doors for business in Austin, Texas later this month. The successful and growing destination management company, focused on resorts, mountains & cities, is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Expanding into the Austin area is a natural progression for RMC.
"We have had this expansion in the works for several months after reviewing with clients where RMC was needed," says RMC owner Shawn Thomson-Palermo. "Each of our locations are exciting, growing, and in need of our services when it comes to a quality destination management product and we will continue to explore additional locations as they present themselves," she adds.
The Austin business will be led by Senior Operations Manager, Wendy Reed, along with the Director of Sales, Briget Nelson. Reed most recently served as Senior Event Project Manager for NFP Insurance Services, Inc. for the past 8 years in Austin and has lived in the area for the last 18 years. Nelson also worked for NFP as the Director of Meetings and Event Strategy since 2005.
