EXHIBITOR Magazine Wins International Honors
EXHIBITOR magazine was recently honored by Trade Association and Business Publications International (TABPI) with two Tabbie Awards. This year's competition featured more than 450 entries, with nominations coming from the United States, Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Africa.
"Since TABPI is an international association, we consider these awards the Olympic medals in publishing," says Travis Stanton, editor of EXHIBITOR magazine. "We're absolutely thrilled to add two more to our collection this year."
EXHIBITOR managed to outrank all of its competitors in the Best How-To Article category, with staff writer Cynthya Porter's article "Customs, Crates & Carnets" earning the Gold Award. EXHIBITOR also won a Bronze Award in the Best Cover, Special Issue category its 2014 Find It - Marketplace issue.
In addition to those two awards, EXHIBITOR received Honorable Mentions in four other categories: Best Editorial, where "Guerrillas in the Midst" ranked 4th; Best Feature Article, where the story "Mobile Marathon" finished in 5th place; Best Feature Design, where it ranked 5th overall; and Best Single Issue, where it placed 7th.
"EXHIBITOR was one of only six magazines to receive more than five nods from TABPI this year, making it one of our most successful years in recent memory," adds Stanton.

TABPI endeavors to bring together editors working for English-language publications worldwide, and encourage a common dedication to editorial ethics and excellence.
