OFFPRICE Celebrates 20 years and 40 Shows in August 2014
OFFPRICE is celebrating a milestone for the upcoming show August 16-19, 2014 at the Sands Expo at Venetian/Palazzo in Las Vegas, NV. This August marks 20 years and the 40th OFFPRICE Show in Las Vegas during Fashion Week. What started with 24 vendors in 1995, OFFPRICE boasts more than 500 today. The show’s outreach has expanded immensely, from mainly women’s apparel, to children’s, accessories, men’s and footwear. Not only have the categories expanded, but the buyers have as well. Buyers from all over the globe including Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe attend the OFFPRICE Show to save up to 70% on purchases for their companies. Given that OFFPRICE is an order-writing show, purchased goods can be in retailers’ stores less than a week later.
New this August is the Buyer Info & Social Media Room. Created for the attendees, the new room is free to all who have questions regarding the show, vendors, social media expansion, or are in need of reorganizing their plans for the day. Located in Meeting Room 101, the buyer relations team and the social media crew, NetUpNow, will be available to answer questions and share tips when shopping the show.
There will be a 40th Show Party in the Galileo Ballroom, near the Cash & Carry section, on Sunday, August 17th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. OFFPRICE will be celebrating the 40th show as well as making a tribute to the companies who have been exhibiting since the first show. Attendees will enjoy complimentary beer, cocktails, wine, appetizers, and a live band, Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
