Expo Logic Welcomes Camela Pastorius as New Director of Accounts
Expo Logic is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Camela Pastorius to its management team. Pastorius, a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with a wealth of experience in hospitality, event and association management, has been named Director of Accounts and will report directly to Vice President and General Manager Renee Thomas.
“We couldn't be more pleased than to have Camela as part of our top notch team. She is an award-winning industry professional with an amazing reputation and the perfect skill set for our growing company,” Thomas said. “We look forward to the ways in which she will better equip Expo Logic to meet all our clients’ needs,” Thomas added.
Pastorius, who has nearly two decades of industry-related experience, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has worked at the Gregg Conference Center and as a meeting planner with the Drug Information Association (DIA). It was with the DIA that she first developed a relationship with Expo Logic when she hired the company to provide registration services.
After a seven-year stint with DIA, Pastorius joined the meeting planning department at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where her hard work and dedication moved her through the ranks and landed her the Director of Conference Solutions, managing the team of people supporting all internal events at Pfizer's Collegeville campus.
In her new role at Expo Logic, Pastorius will be working closely with the company’s existing team of account and registration managers to ensure that all current and potential clients are receiving the best possible service and that new products - such as badge[on]demand™ - are reaching as many customers as possible. “We have so much faith in Camela and we know she is very well suited for the role,” Thomas said.
Beyond her role at Expo Logic, Pastorius is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and of her community. She was named MPI’s “Planner of the Year” in 2007 and “Chapter Leader of the Year” in 2011. She spends her free time with family and serving on the board of several nonprofit organizations.
