8th Annual EDPA Bowling Event Wins Again for RSMGC Recipients
8/28/2014
The Southeast Chapter of the EDPA sponsored the 8th Annual “Get Out Of The Gutter…For A Good Cause” charity bowling competition and social event on August 21, 2014 at Bowlmor Lanes in Dunwoody, Georgia. This year’s event was attended by well over 160 EDPA Members and was generously supported by key Corporate Sponsors raising much needed financial support for the families supported by the RSMGC. This group of bowlers was the largest group ever for this key SE Chapter event.

The event featured 38 teams of 4 bowlers all competing for the coveted 1st Place trophy which was narrowed to just 10 teams in the semi-final round. The Championship round featured the top five teams and was finally won by MC². Only 4 pins separated the Champions from the 2nd Place team from Czarnowski who entered 11 total teams this year! Nth Degree rounded out the top three with a strong finish from one of their two teams entered. The ‘Team Spirit’ award was awarded to the five teams from Exhibitus who were all clad in matching orange shirts while making their presence known with every strike and gutter ball thrown!

Corporate Sponsors and supporters of this year’s event included Blue Sky Exhibits, Brumark Flooring, CDI USA, Champion Logistics Group, ColorChrome, Exhibitus, Expotechnik America, MC², Nth Degree, Octanorm USA, PRG, Tectonics, The Inside Track and Zenvoid Design.

Brian Hampton, President of the EDPA SE Chapter, summed up the evening saying, “I’m overwhelmed at the generous support of all our sponsors and bowlers. It’s so great to see everyone participate and enjoy this special event. We are honored to donate all the proceeds of this event to the RSMGC.”

The objective of the Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic (RSMGC) is to help families in the exhibition industry who have suffered severe tragedies or are facing insurmountable medical expenses. The RSMGC is committed to providing financial and emotional support to all past and present recipients and their families.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this another great bowling event!
