The GWCC Expects to Become the World's Largest LEED Certified Convention Center
Georgia World Congress Center's Sustainability Committee is seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification as a measurement tool for the sustainable operations and maintenance of the building.
Since 2010, an emphasis was placed on waste diversion and recycling, energy and water efficiency, green cleaning, and sustainable purchasing policies.
Look for more news soon as GWCC expects to officially become the world's largest LEED certified convention center and one of the largest buildings in the world to be LEED certified.
