Strategic sourcing technology provider Zentila announced the appointment today of Brad Langley, CITE, as chief operating officer. Langley brings to Zentila a depth of experience, having driven growth at world-leading meeting, incentive and travel companies for the past three decades.
“Brad’s innovative strategies have led to significant gains across the board, in sales, revenue, employee engagement and customer satisfaction and retention,” says Mike Mason, founder and CEO, Zentila. “He’s a collaborative and inspiring leader, who also brings to the table a wealth of experience in the third-party planner world. In addition to directing Zentila’s overall operations, Brad will be a tremendous asset to illuminate3P, our newest solution developed for third-party planners.”
At Zentila, Langley will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations, including financial operations and the customer experience, from onboarding to fulfillment of services. He also will oversee the illuminate3P business, with a focus on sales, service and technology enhancements.
“Zentila is the right solution at the right time,” Langley says. “I’ve been following the company since it launched and believe in this platform so much that I wanted to help share it with others throughout the industry. I’m delighted to be part of this team – the beauty of Zentila is it helps simplify a complex world.”
Earlier in his career, Langley served as president and chief operating officer at Creative Group, Inc. During his 15-year tenure there, he spearheaded the development of technology solutions that increased customer and employee satisfaction and retention. He developed forums for hotels and meeting planners to enhance supplier/partner relationships and launched the enterprise-wide CGI University employee training curriculum. Langley also formed an industry-leading alliance that integrated corporate travel management services with meetings and incentives.
Under his leadership, top-line sales more than doubled. Creative Group received the elite Deloitte & Touche Innovative People Programs Award, recognized as Wisconsin’s No. 1 privately held company for employee programs and accomplishments in business sustainability, innovation and globalization.
Before Creative Group, Langley was a vice president and general manager of Group Travel at Maritz Travel Company. He oversaw sales and operations of group travel programs for both the Eastern and Western United States Regions. Earlier at Maritz, as vice president of Product Services, he managed purchasing and product development for North America, the Caribbean and worldwide cruise markets.
Among his many professional distinctions, Langley is one of 50 incentive travel professionals globally to earn the Certified Incentive & Travel Executive (CITE) designation. He is also a recipient of SABRE Travel Network’s Peak of Excellence Award for “exemplary business leadership with a strong commitment and focus on customer service.” During the course of his career, Langley has served on numerous boards for the meetings and incentive industry. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, as well, on the topic of measuring ROI for meetings, incentives and events.
