TradeShow Teacher Participates in Aventura Police’s Holiday Toy Drive

1/3/2013 - Once again, TradeShow Teacher, a South Florida-based trade show consulting, management and marketing firm, has stepped up to the plate as part of its TST CARES initiative, wherein which team members - individually or collectively - participate in altruistic acts. In the spirit of the holiday season, TradeShow Teacher team members joined together and gathered donations for the local toy drive sponsored by the Aventura (FL) Police Department. The donations were then passed along to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which provides age- and gender-appropriate gifts to under-privileged children up to 17-years-old.

“We were so excited about our first holiday toy drive for less-fortunate kids,” said Linda Musgrove, president and founder of TradeShow Teacher. “We collected trucks, dolls, puzzles, dress-up party wear, lunchboxes, play dough and even sports gear. We are proud of our inaugural effort and anticipate this to become a tradition which grows each year along with our business and staff. Every child deserves to un-wrap gifts during the holidays.”

TradeShow Teacher team members are recognized in their monthly newsletter for their inspired contributions to good causes on a local or global level in an attempt to encourage others to get involved as well as to provide additional exposure to the organizations seeking support.

“Because of the generosity of each member of your staff, our 2012 Holiday Toy Drive placed even more toys in the hands of children. During these hard hit economical times, it is nice to know that members of our community are always willing to help out,” stated Aventura Chief of Police Steven Steinberg in a thank-you letter addressed to Musgrove.
