1/24/2013 - AGILE Tradeshow & Event Furnishings announces it is under agreement to be acquired by American Furniture Rentals®, the parent company of AFR Event Furnishings®.

AFR is one of the industry's leading provider's of event and trade show furniture as well as one of the largest furniture rental providers of residential, home staging and commercial rental furniture in the United States.

"AGILE will remain a separate entity doing business as it always has, just under the AFR Company umbrella", said Jose Lopez of AGILE. The synergies between AFR Event Furnishings and AGILE help complement the ability for both companies to service all industry market segments by providing a bigger national presence and expanded product offering. Jose Lopez, in addition to running Agile, holds an equity position in AFR.
