Las Vegas Hospitality Association Installs New Board for 2013, Launches New Website

1/31/2013 - Julie Pazina, Director of Sales at Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, is the 2013 president for the Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA), a 450-plus member Las Vegas tourism industry organization.

The new board of directors was installed at the installation luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2013, at The Four Seasons Hotel.

Pazina’s goals as president are to further increase the awareness of LVHA and its members, produce top-notch educational and networking events and raise even more money for scholarships and community outreach programs. “It is an honor to be a part of such an amazing group of hospitality professionals,” said Pazina, who has been on the LVHA Board since 2009.

In her current position, Pazina oversees sales in the Las Vegas market, regionally and nationally for Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services. In the past, the Atlanta native and Vanderbilt University graduate was Assistant Cruise Director and Port and Cruise Consultant for the cruise industry. While in the advertising industry, she worked on The Ritz-Carlton and the Ohio Electric Choice campaign accounts.

For the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, Pazina has served as a national committee chair, graduated from the Krakoff Leadership Institute and been named 2011 Young Professional of the Year.

New Website
The Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA), a premier tourism destination organization, also launched a brand new website and address - www.MyLVHA.org - on Jan. 24, 2013.

“The new website has been optimized from the previous version, which now features improved navigation, social media integration and offers more flexibility,” said outgoing LVHA president Bryan Kroten. “The board made the decision in late 2012 to also update the URL to increase brand recognition for the organization.”

The new MyLVHA website offers a clean, modern design, easy-to-navigate functionality, and a content-rich site experience. The audience can learn about the organization, sign up for upcoming events, view photos from past events, join the organization, learn about the more than 450 members and see member spotlight videos. The site also provides social media integration and direct links to LVHA’s Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.

The old website, www.lvhospitality.org, will automatically redirect traffic to the new website.
