David Brull, Derek Jenkins and Eileen Kornmeyer Join Access TCA as Account Directors

2/21/2013 - David Brull, Derek Jenkins and Eileen Kornmeyer have joined Access TCA as Account Directors, reporting to Laura Milewski, Director of Business Development.

David Brull’s fifteen years in sales and marketing include three years with the Trade Show Exhibitors Association, where his efforts doubled membership his first year. He recently held a position as national account director at MC2. Access is excited to expand its sales efforts in the Chicago market.

Derek Jenkins has developed and marketed events for 17 years, most recently as event and media sales director for CDM Media, where he orchestrated successful summit meetings for information executives of major technology companies.

“Dave and Derek bring talents and experience that will strengthen our business as Access enters a new phase of growth,” said Jon Ellms, Access Vice President and Principal. “As a veteran of the TSEA, Dave knows the trade show world from multiple perspectives, and he applies that knowledge to benefit his customers. Derek has spent much of his career on the forefront of event management including virtual meetings and integrated media campaigns. Additionally, he has worked closely with the IT industry and really understands its needs.”

Jenkins sees himself and Access as a natural fit. “I was impressed to see the strong emphasis on client outcomes. Access does business the same way I do, focusing on the client’s goal and creating a path to measurable success,” said Jenkins.

“Access has a reputation for a high level of customer satisfaction, and as a sales professional, nothing is more important to me. It’s why I love what I do,” Brull said.

Kornmeyer will serve clients nationwide from her Dallas office. She boasts 11 years of progressive advancement in sales and sales management. For ten years at Hanley Wood Exhibitions, she led the sales team and served key accounts for World of Concrete, the premier concrete and masonry exhibition featuring more than 1,400 exhibitors from around the world.

“We are delighted to welcome Eileen to Access. Her outstanding sales skills and experience within the construction sector will open new doors for us,” said Amy Yag, Access Vice President. “And her unsurpassed knowledge of the exhibition side of our industry is a real plus.”

After years of attracting exhibitors to the show floor, Kornmeyer is eager to help them make the most of every show. “I have devoted my career to bringing buyers and sellers together,” she said. “Now, as an Access account director, I will be part of creating a targeted experience for buyers and the best possible outcome for our clients.”
