SoftSpace Introduces New Team Members

3/7/2013 - Dynamic. Evolving. Innovative. The trade show industry is all of these as it grows and changes, and SoftSpace is no different. The full service design and fabrication company based in Columbia, Tennessee, has recently added to their team and is excited to offer a new level of expertise and services to their clients.

As one of the original employees of the company, Corey Hight serves as the Project Manager. His fabrication background has given him a tremendous ability to problem solve and troubleshoot on the production floor and develop building techniques.

Michelle Fitzgerald joined the company in 2011 and has grown into the role of Operations Manager. With a background in business and marketing and through her love of working with and helping others, she facilitates the daily operations of the company across departments, as well as interactions with client partners, focusing on organization and maintenance of procedures and protocol.

Enhancing the skills and services of the art and fabric department, Graphics Manager Mike Doyle lends his experience and expertise to the management of graphics and printing, vehicle wraps, and vinyl work. Through his knowledge and dedication, SoftSpace has expanded their product line and capabilities in these areas.

Jay Cates joins the team as the new lead Exhibit Design Manager. His fresh perspective and innovative ideas lend to exciting designs that not only turn into showpieces for the clients, but are also elements that the production staff enjoys the challenge of building.

Rounding out the management team is Production Manager Dave Brady. Dave’s background as a business owner brings an entrepreneurial, hands-on style of managing the daily schedule and production of the manufacturing floor. Dubbed a jack-of-all trades, he has spent time in each department from stitching to shipping and works diligently to ensure production timelines are met and the production staff is on task.

Within the last year, SoftSpace has also added eleven new employees in their design department, art and fabric department, graphic design and marketing department, sales, as well as on the production floor, to build a team full of incredible talent, knowledge, and skill that stands ready to deliver the ultimate in client experiences, no matter the project.
