Maastricht Convention Bureau Nominated for Best Convention Bureau in Holland

3/14/2013 - According to their website, The MICE Reporter is “the ultimate magazine for the discerning business traveller, conference organiser and meetings planner”. The MICE Reporter does not nominate the organisations but allows the subscribers to make their own choice; they are making their judgement on their experiences of the organisations/products/services that they vote for.

Subscribers of The MICE Reporter were sent an email newsletter in January concerning the voting for the Awards programme. The newsletter contained the different categories and they invited the subscribers to vote for organisations befitting the categories. From the voting results, The MICE Report has now shortlisted the organisations with the most votes, and a panel of judges will make the final decision as to which organisation wins the award.

The panel of judges will make their decision based on the feedback from the voters and their own research. The award winners will be announced in our next issue of The MICE Report.

Marcel Knols, director of the Maastricht Convention Bureau, is very pleased with the nomination: “The strength of Maastricht & region in the MICE market is the collaboration with local partners. Whether we are going to win or not, the nomination itself is a reward for our joint effort year after year.”
