MC2 President Rich McAdam to Speak at the CTSM Graduation Dinner at EXHIBITOR2013
Rich McAdam, president of MC2 (“MC-Squared”), will speak at the Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) Graduation Dinner, which will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. as part of EXHIBITOR2013.
During his remarks, McAdam will address the incremental shifts in experiential marketing from the perspective of his 26-year career. He will also share his insight on where the industry is heading and how tomorrow’s exhibitors can adapt to these shifts.
Forty-five exhibit and event industry professionals will be recognized at the CTSM Graduate Dinner. CTSM is the industry’s only university-affiliated certification program with CEUs granted by Northern Illinois University Outreach.
“I’m looking forward to speaking at the graduation dinner,” said McAdam. “Education and professional development are core values at MC2. As the industry evolves, we strongly believe education and training programs are essential to individual and company success.”
Since 2005, McAdam has served as president of MC2, where he leads the strategic direction and growth initiatives for the company, including the recent acquisition of proFair GmbH, a German exhibit firm in 2012. McAdam started his career as shop carpenter and has since touched every aspect of the business. He was part of the industry consolidation in the late 80s and the movement from local shops to national exhibit firms in the early 90s. In the last decade, he has seen the shift in emphasis from architecture to content as an exhibit strategy. With few peers in the industry, McAdam’s extensive background has given him a keen understanding of how to evaluate industry changes and steer a company’s path to success.
MC2 designs, builds and manages integrated marketing programs for events, exhibits, and brand environments for the world's best brands. The company's unique rental exhibit system, EcoFlex™, is a green alternative to custom exhibit rentals and offers end-to-end exhibit services for an all-inclusive price. A strong supporter of education, MC2 has sponsored EXHIBITOR magazine's FastTrak education program since 2001. They have 12 locations in the U.S. and Germany to serve their clients.
