New Show Manager for eBay Live! Conference

2/2/2006 - The Chase Group, Inc. announced Feb. 1, that Jackie Rees has been hired as show manager for one of the company’s major accounts, eBay Live!. The Chase Group has managed the eBay Live! Community Conference since its inception. Now in its 5th year, the annual event attracts more than 10,000 attendees. Rees will lead the event team responsible for logistics/operations, venue planning, exhibitor management, registration services and event production as well as providing client management and budget management services.

Rees gained a background in show management as the show manager during her eight-year tenure at MediaLive International. Most recently she was the program director for MediaLive’s Technology Media Group and has managed and lead teams for shows such as; JavaOne Developers Conference, Seybold Seminars and Networld+Interop. Rees started her career in catering/sales management for a number of Sheraton Hotels & Resorts properties. She received a BS in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Denver.
