Top EXHIBITOR2007 Awards Announced

4/6/2007 - Ten exhibitors earned top honors at EXHIBITOR2007, the national conference and exhibition for trade show and event marketing, which met March 25-29 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas. Three were recognized for the overall excellence of their booth design or for outstanding booth staffing. Seven earned Buyers' Choice Awards for best new product introductions.

Best of Show and Best Booth Staff

  • PICO captured the Best of Show Award for exhibits larger than 200 sq. ft. for its inviting layout, cool, trendy color palette and graphics.
  • Winning Best of Show in the category of less than 200 sq. ft. was NMR Staging & Events, wowing judges with its lighting, video, and colorful interactive exhibit.
  • Canadian-based VMC Group earned Best Booth Staff at EXHIBITOR2007 on the merits of an engaging style, good qualifying questions, and an appealing demo.

Buyers' Choice Awards

Seven Buyers' Choice Award winners were selected from the ranks of New Product Showcase entries representing the exhibit and event industry's newest innovations. A record 52 products were featured in this year's Showcase. Winners were FISH Software Inc., Eco-Systems Displays, Athena Promo, Blue Telescope, Outwater Plastics Industries Inc., Dimensions Displays Ltd., and Marketech Inc.

  • FISH Software Inc. was honored for its Immersive Media Application, a program that helps exhibitors better leverage their pre-show, at-show and post-show marketing activities.
  • Eco-Systems was recognized for its Modular Display Systems, the first produced entirely from United States Green Build Council materials.
  • Athena Promo was chosen for the Razor Ultra Thin Credit Card, a 2GB flash drive that fits into any wallet's credit card holder.
  • Blue Telescope earned its award for its Starmap, an oversized table that creates interaction between attendees and a company's brand.
  • Outwater Plastics Industries Inc. was selected for its Extrude-A-Scent Mouldings, which can incorporate any of more than 10,000 aromas for dispersion in an exhibit.
  • Dimension Displays Ltd. was picked for its D3 Display Stands, which blend eye-catching display holders for brochures, posters and other materials with ultra slim lightscreens.
  • Marketech Inc. won for its You Can Make A Difference - Self Paced Training, an intranet product designed to help geographically dispersed staffs with booth training.
