EWI Worldwide, a global, live communications company, announces the addition of Guangzhou Honda, KR Co. Ltd., Hisense and the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority to its growing lineup of Asian clients. These new clients, representing the automotive, consumer electronics and alternative energy sectors, are important additions to an already strong collection of Asian and U.S. brands working with the Shanghai operation of EWI Worldwide.
‘Our value proposition is resonating well with Asian companies,’ says Jerry Kern, EWI Worldwide Chief Sales Officer. ‘The fact that companies like Guangzhou Honda have selected EWI Worldwide as its marketing partner speaks volumes to the strength of our message and the quality of our China team.’
Guangzhou Honda, the joint venture of Honda Motor Company in China, selected EWI Worldwide to develop a new exhibit program, which will debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show later this month. The new design was developed by EWI Worldwide’s International Creative Director, Fausin Mdisa, in close collaboration with the Shanghai design team. ‘Our ability to combine our knowledge of the global auto industry with an understanding of how to communicate at a national and regional level in China is a tremendous strength that we bring to clients like Guangzhou Honda,’ says Mdisa.
Continuing to diversify its business into new and growing industries, EWI Worldwide partnered with Los Angeles design firm Space Potential, to build and manage an exhibit for KR Co. Ltd., a South Korean alternative energy company. The exhibit debuted this month at the Shanghai Wind Power Show.
Additionally, EWI Worldwide is developing the first Malaysian National Pavilion for the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The pavilion will potentially house 15 Malaysian companies, including Matrade and KHTP. In its 4th year at CES, Hisense, an electric appliance manufacturer and one of China’s largest and most profitable enterprises, also selected EWI Worldwide to produce its exhibit at CES.
