The ASI Show Las Vegas Announces Two Performances to Celebrate 10th Anniversary
The ASI Show has announced two exciting entertainment opportunities taking place as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of ASI Las Vegas (returning to the Sands Expo Center April 9-11) — Penn & Teller Live and Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.
As the industry’s longest-running event in Las Vegas, The ASI Show Las Vegas has become the trade show to attend to find the most innovative products in the advertising specialty industry. Bringing together thousands quality distributors from across the country with hundreds of inventive suppliers, ASI Las Vegas delivers an action-packed, business-building experience.
ASI members will be thrilled during an exclusive performance by Las Vegas entertainers Penn & Teller (sponsored by SnugZ USA), during this year’s ASI Las Vegas, on Thursday, April 10, from 8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Rio Hotel and Casino. Known for their outrageous blending of comedy and magic, Penn & Teller’s live show has been a hit on Broadway and around the country and now has a permanent home in Las Vegas! They call themselves ‘a couple of eccentric guys who have learned how to do a few cool things.’ Combining Teller’s silent, occasionally creepy magic with Penn’s comedy and juggling expertise, this is a truly must-see event. Audience members will be sitting on the edge of their seats as they try to figure out the tricks behind Penn & Teller’s magic and illusions.
‘We are excited to be offering this free private performance by Penn & Teller to our members instead of our traditional gala celebration (ASI distributor, decorator and supplier member companies will receive two free tickets when they register by January 25*). Penn & Teller is one of the most popular shows offered in Las Vegas and, in fact, were named two of the funniest comedians alive by Entertainment Weekly. The 2008 ASI Show Las Vegas promises to be a memorable event for our attendees, featuring a number of special highlights,’ said Matthew Cohn, President of The ASI Show.
ASI Las Vegas will feature an action-packed three-day schedule that includes 600 innovative suppliers on one show floor, more than 50 cutting-edge education workshops, three free Keynote presentations and daily networking activities. As part of the special 10th anniversary celebration, ASI members will also be able to purchase discounted tickets to the popular Beatles LOVE, Cirque du Soleil show taking place at the Mirage.
‘Distributors, decorators and suppliers are enthusiastic about this year’s ASI Las Vegas,’ shared Director of Sales Karen DiTomasso. ‘We expect to have a terrific turnout. And, returning to the Sands Expo Center, located right on the Las Vegas strip, is sure to add extra excitement to our 10th anniversary celebration.’ Suppliers should ask about available sponsorship opportunities for added exposure and VIP opportunities for their best distributors.
*ASI distributor, decorator and supplier members may order up to two free general admission tickets to Penn & Teller when they register by January 25. Deadlines and restrictions apply. Ticket upgrades are available.
The ASI Show was created for active ASI member distributors and suppliers and attracts more distributors than any other industry shows — with 30,000 attendees. Offering a full education conference, networking opportunities and a manageable one floor/one hall layout, The ASI Show provides a complete tradeshow experience. In five host cities per year (Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, New York City and Chicago), The ASI Show has experienced steadily growing attendance since its inception in 1998, and is ideal for promotional product businesses searching for new ideas, new business relationships and more. In January 2006, The ASI Show launched the Advantages Roadshow, ASI’s only official traveling show, visiting over 70 top cities throughout the country. The Advantages Roadshow brings top industry suppliers together with quality distributors and salespeople who traditionally do not attend other larger industry shows.
