7 Earn Buyers Choice Awards at EXHIBITOR2009

Seven Buyers' Choice Award winners were selected from the more than 60 New Product
Showcase entries representing the exhibit and event industry's newest innovations at
EXHIBITOR2009, which met from March 22-26, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Convention
Center, Las Vegas.
The seven winners were:
- Globotech Displays - GLOBOTECH Digital Banner Stand
Judges appreciated the ease with which messages could be changed on this portable
digital signage display and thought it was an exceptionally value priced.
- Expo Displays - SpiderMount™
Judges like the way this product made pop-ups extra special by connecting the VIZIO™
LCD HDTV flat screen monitors internally into a display system. "There's nothing like it
on the market," one judge contended.
- Kaon Interactive - Kaon V-OSK Presenter™
The ease with which presentations could be customized was noted by judges about this
new product, which uses touch-screen technology to project presentations on secondary
displays such as video walls or large monitors.
- Capital Networks Ltd. - Audience.tag™
™
The ability to put your company's logo in motion in a personal digital sign that is worn
like a name badge made this product a hit with the judges.
- APCO Audio Visual - A3D4100 42" LCD Autostereoscopic Monitor
The ability to see a 3D image without the need to wear special glasses and the "turn key"
approach that had been designed into the monitor made this product worthy of
recognition by the judges.
- Skyline Exhibits for DesignView™ Presentation Systems
The way in which this system bundled together large-scale video projection capabilities in
an affordable package for a 10 x 10 foot exhibit impressed the judges.
- Exponents Inc. - Exponents Portable System
Judges enjoyed the contemporary design and the clean design of these lightweight 10 x
10 and 10 x 20 inline exhibits. The large number of green materials used also was noted
by the judges.
Four areas were used as judging criteria. They included:
- Innovative design
- Broad-based application
- Addresses an industry need or issue
- Enhances the job of the exhibit or event marketing professional
Trade show and event managers representing large and small companies in a variety of
industries served on the judging panels. None had entries in the competition.
