Inter-Global Exhibitions Gives P&G Oral Health Crest a Bright Smile

1/21/2010 - A retail presence on the show floor was what P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B and their partner Moening Presentation hoped Inter-Global Exhibitions could give their sales team who distributed a lot of product and took orders, not leads.

IGE Group designed a contemporary sales environment that accommodated all their requests: theatre seating for 45-50 people, workstations for 25-50 salespeople, regimen (brushing) stations and a large storage space for product samples.

P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B, Moening Presentation Group and Inter-Global Exhibitions determined the exhibit design and exhibit experience based on a 50X90’ booth space. After the exhibit design was approved, the booth size was decreased to 50X50’but P&G Oral Health Crest wanted to keep all the components from the initial design.

IGE Group developed multiple exhibit configurations to review with P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B to determine how to reduce an exhibit by 2,000 feet, but keep all the essential components. While configurations worked out on paper, the team was hesitant. IGE Group met the P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B team at a trade show and rented a hotel banquet room. They “taped” out the exhibit plan on the floor and each team member walked the booth. This exercise allowed the group to realize the theatre space could be decreased and the sales area needed to be increased. Laying out the floorplan in this way helped finalize all details quickly for the booth. So, when the schedule was moved up, IGE Group made a tight production schedule revision and followed it tightly to deliver the exhibit by the ADA show, September 2009.

The new exhibit improved on the impressive regimen stations with embedded video brand messaging in the mirrors over the sinks. Two sales kiosks were created with a water table on the other side. This area was named the “Professional Sales Bar”. The water table functioned as a product display area with toothbrushes displayed above the surface of the water.

Many of P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B’s competitors were cutting back on their exhibits and marketing at the Hawaii in September. Premiering this exhibit at ADA gave P&G Oral Health Crest Oral-B the opportunity to stand out and show their pearly whites.
