Moss Introduces Eco Blend Poly Duck Line of Environmentally Friendly Fabrics

3/4/2010 - Moss Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Eco Blend Poly Duck to its line of environmentally friendly fabrics. The fabric is made from 45% recycled polyester yarn. The recycled content in the yarn is made of clear recycled plastic bottles. Eco Blend Poly Duck will replace Moss’s current Poly Duck at no additional cost. The fabric and yarn is all made in the USA.

Moss also offers Green Moss Knit and Green UltraStretch. Moss Green Knit is printable polyester based knit fabric used primarily for tensioned fabric structures. Green UltraStretch is a printable stretchy fabric most often used with Moss’ extrusion systems: Moss Max and Moss Groove.

Moss’ line of environmental fabrics is another example of Moss's commitment to environmental responsibility. Moss Inc. is proud of its many initiatives in this area that include:
• Our Photo Fabric Dye-Sublimation printing is produced without the use of solvent inks.
• All aluminum scrap is recycled from our manufacturing plants.
• All paper, cardboard and shipping tubes are recycled at our three plants.
• Moss offers a rental program for their event and tradeshow exhibit clients – encouraging our customers to rent rather than buy and discard after limited use.
• The Moss Salt Lake City plant uses swamp coolers instead of air conditioners.
• The Moss Belfast facility is heated with Bio Fuel.
