Exhibit Law Primer: Legal Concepts and Practical Advice
This session will provide a comprehensive yet easy-to-understand review of the high-level legal statutes that apply to and impact trade shows, exhibits and events -regardless of size. Part I of this session will focus on contracting basics, specific contract clauses that cause liability, breach, modifications, and intellectual property rights. We will:
 •  Identify potential legal consequences that can arise from common real-life situations
 •  Learn to evaluate the apparent and hidden risk potential of various decisions, actions and situations
 •  Discuss standard best practices and the business decisions associated with them

Kelly Franklin Bagnall has represented hotel and resort owners and management companies nationwide in virtually all aspects of operational matters, including litigation, arbitration and attending to risk management and security issues. Kelly is a partner with the law firm of Holland & Knight, LLP, and is a member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys, Meeting Professionals International, National Association of Credit Management, Professional Convention Management Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
