VISIT DENVER Hires Lester Robinson II as Sales Director for DC Efforts
VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, has hired Lester Robinson II as sales director, Washington, DC Region for its Washington, DC office.
Robinson brings 18 years of proven hotel sales and relationship building experience to his new role. He spent six years with Hilton Worldwide with hotels in Michigan and Baltimore, four years with Starwood hotels in the Washington, DC, area and most recently he was part of Caesars Entertainment’s east region team selling all of their large-box Las Vegas properties including nine Las Vegas hotels with a combined 1.3 million square feet of meeting space and more than 20,000 rooms.
In his new role with VISIT DENVER, Robinson will be responsible for DC, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia association business 1,500+ rooms on peak.
Robinson is active in the Capital Chapter of PCMA and AMPS, a DC-based industry organization. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University.
