Crêpes à Latte Offers ESOP to its 28 Employees
Crêpes à Latte, an experiential hospitality leader specializing in the trade show industry, announced today that the company is now a 100% employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”). With this transition, each of the Company’s 28 full-time employees, regardless of title or compensation, are eligible to become an owner of the company. Crêpes à Latte is joining the list of approximately 7,000 ESOPs in place in the U.S., covering nearly 11 million employees. “After thorough research, we knew that an ESOP would provide a structure where Crêpes à Latte’s employees could benefit from the company’s long-term success,” said company founder Michael Rosenstein, who leads the company with his wife Hailey. “By giving our employees an ownership stake, we are incentivizing the team to continue our track record of innovation and award-winning service. We are proud to invest in an ownership culture that will serve our clients at trade shows across the country. The ESOP supports our plan to build a long-term sustainable legacy that rewards our employees, many of whom have been with us for years.”
Recently named to Inc.’s 2018 5000 list, Michael and Hailey Rosenstein join a prestigious group of entrepreneurs whose corporate growth over the past three years has hovered at 50 percent or more. Founded in 2001, Crêpes à Latte offers more than 200 specialty food and beverage options for clients who leverage the hospitality experience as a marketing tactic for delivering a message and building brand recognition. According to Hailey, “Trade shows rely on excellent content, visual designs, and aesthetics. Our clients take it to the next level by offering guests unique items such as dessert crepes and cappuccinos to frozen hot chocolate and rolled ice cream. By providing an attendee with a unique hospitality item, our clients deliver a positive and memorable experience. For exhibitors, it’s not just about the giveaway, it’s about the time they now have with prospects and customers. By building traffic and creating engagement opportunities, we help our clients achieve a healthy return on their trade show investments.”
Crêpes à Latte focuses on professionalism and high standards, with all employees undergoing dedicated training programs. Unlike other companies, Crêpes à Latte doesn’t charge by the item; their services are based on unlimited quantities for the duration of the trade show exhibit hours. Last year, the company supported 2,290 events at 190 trade shows and reported 23% growth. Michael’s background is in the food industry, while Hailey was a convention marketing manager at a pharmaceutical company. Their combined knowledge and commitment to excellence has contributed to the company’s organic growth. The ESOP will not change the leadership of the company, and Michael and Hailey will continue to lead the company as well as sit on the board. For more information, visit www.crepesalatte.com.
