Exhibitus Names Matt Black Director, Engagement Division
Exhibitus announces that experiential marketing veteran, Matt Black, has joined the company as Director, Engagement Division.
Given the increasing demand for technology-driven, interactive engagements to support face-to-face marketing campaigns, Exhibitus has significantly expanded its award-winning engagement team. Black, an expert in managing and mentoring creative talent, will lead the team to deliver innovative solutions for new and existing clients.
From 2014 – 2018, Black was Director at IMG Live, LLC., an experiential marketing agency that connects brands with fans through live experiences. At IMG Live, he spearheaded national marketing events, including a 10,000 attendee 4.01K race for Prudential Insurance on the Rose Bowl property. The stadium was turned into a 19-acre interactive village with custom digital games and consumer touchpoints.
Previously, Black was Vice-President, Director Experiential for EP&Co, where he led experiential campaigns for a full-serve advertising agency in the event and mobile marketing space. Clients included Verizon’s National Football League account and Denny’s restaurants.
For 13 years prior, Black was Vice-President at Team EPIC, a sponsorship and lifestyle partner to iconic brands. He was responsible for key accounts, including Sports Illustrated, AT&T, ESPN, PepsiCo, NASCAR and Toyota. He drove the creative process for concept development, as well as managed production and vendor relationships, for client initiatives. In addition, he led the launch of a 29-city mobile tour promoting the 2012 and 2013 Olympic Games for the U.S. Olympic Committee.
