Arlington CVB Adds Paola Bowman as Destination Services Manager
Paola Bowman has joined the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau as Destination Services Manager. As an experienced hospitality professional, Bowman has worked in numerous positions, from front of the house to sales and services. Most recently with the Grapevine CVB leading the Destination Services team, her previous roles include Visit Fort Worth for over nine years, where she succeeded in a variety of roles from tourism to convention services.
As an events and destination services professional, Bowman has worked with event planners to build attendance, select partner services, assist with marketing efforts to promote and welcome the group, and overall help design a successful event and destination experience. In her new role, she is excited to oversee the destination services offered and to enhance the planner and visitor experience in Arlington, Texas.
“Arlington is a dynamic and thriving growing destination. I’m excited to contribute my skills to the meeting planner and attendee experience in my new role. We are in the memory and experience making industry and this city has the perfect recipe for that to happen. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and cook up some great meeting successes for our clients,” said Bowman.
Bowman obtained her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) from the Events Industry Council in 2015 and earned her CMM (Certificate in Meeting Management) from Meeting Professionals International. Recently, she was named to the Smart Meetings Magazine “100 Women Who Inspire Us” list.
She is active in the Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA), currently serving as a board member and on the conference committee, as well as remaining engaged through the mentorship program and the webinar series. Paola is also involved in the local DFW MPI Chapter, and is passionate about the hospitality and events industry.
