Displays from Cook & Associates Showcase European Aviation at EBACE 2019
Leading global exhibition design and management company, Cook & Associates, created 7 exciting exhibition stands and static displays for blue chip clients at the recent EBACE event in Geneva. Covering over 6000 sq metres in total, the emphasis was on combining exciting and welcoming visitor experiences through immersive technology and creative layouts, accompanied by high impact static displays.
One of 22 annual aerospace and aviation sector events supported by Cook & Associates around the world, the 2019 EBACE represents the 19th consecutive year that Cook & Associates has supported blue chip clients at the European business aviation community’s premier event. For global leader in business aircraft sales and acquisitions Jetcraft, the brief was to combine top quality hospitality incorporating a champagne bar with a high impact static exhibit featuring two of the company’s private aircraft and helicopters. Jetcraft’s Marketing Director Lauren Kinelski explains: “Its important for the Jetcraft static display at EBACE to offer a prominent, elegant and comfortable space to host high profile clients – no easy task considering it’s erected in a matter of hours, outside, in the middle of an active airport runway! Cook & Associates consistently answers our call to raise the bar and this year they met our challenges head on by engineering a noteworthy entrance archway, a secluded and shaded hospitality area, and increased functional space for catering and storage.“
For Textron Aviation, the show is a significant opportunity to unveil its latest aircraft. The static area designed by Cook & Associates contained 10 different aircraft types, including the new flagship, the Cessna Citation Longitude super-midsize business jet. On Textron Aviation’s 384 sq metre stand, Cook & Associates’ design team incorporated a range of immersive technology features, representing a key component to engage and communicate with visitors. Bespoke object recognition tables, an interactive touch wall and high impact LED display wall combined to create a lively and highly memorable visit. Coded objects corresponding to each of the aircraft on the outdoor static display could be placed onto the recognition table to display information visually on an aircraft of choice. In addition, visitors could use the interactive touch wall to design their own aircraft, customising the exterior design, colour scheme, interior finish, etc. On completion, the design was sent straight to their email inbox, strengthening the company/client relationship. The combined technologies provided Textron with key metrics to analyse the success of the exhibit post show – across engagement time, visitor data collection, main touch points, user experience and the visitor journey following on from the technology interaction.
Qatar Executive, the private jet charter division of Qatar Airways Group, used its 10th EBACE event to make a major impact, with a comprehensive static display and luxury stand environment. The company announced its latest expansion plans, with new offices in Shanghai, Moscow and London, as part of offering its bespoke and personal service to business and leisure clients on a global scale, regardless of where they are located.
