CORT Events Celebrates the Season with A Springtime Soiree
CORT Events, a division of CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, hosted A Springtime Soiree to show appreciation for approximately 200 distinguished guests, introducing new product and celebrating the cherry blossom season that is iconic to the nation’s capital.
CORT Events dazzled guests with the hottest trends in furnishings and décor and provided an exclusive look at the company’s newest collections. The event showcased creative and inspirational ways planners and designers can stylize a space while staying on trend. These styles and trends easily translate to a trade show floor, evolving booth spaces into experiential and engaging environments.
Held in Washington, DC, the stately Ronald Reagan Building was transformed for the evening with living statues, stilt walkers, a lively band and DJ that kept guests dancing all night long. CORT Events drape services filled the room with stunning colorful arrangements, including custom-printed drape, that created a breathtaking ambiance.
Steve Kemble, America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, served as master of ceremonies and delighted guests with raffle prizes featuring tech gadgets, spa days and weekend getaways. In the midst of the festivities, CORT Events’ newest Chandler and Capri collections made their first public debut.
“We strive to create unparalleled experiences for our clients,” said Kevin Dana, executive director of Marketing and Product Development at CORT Events. “Treating our customers and industry partners to an event like this gives us the opportunity to express appreciation for them while sparking inspiration with out-of-the-box ways to create a truly immersive experience.”
Additionally, the Soiree fostered local community support, encouraging attendees to bring canned food donations to benefit Move for Hunger, a national charity partner of CORT. Move for Hunger works with organizations to collect and deliver non-perishable food items to food banks across North America. Donations made by event attendees exceeded 340 pounds, which were donated to Capital Area Food Bank in DC.
