Society for Human Resource Management Signs Multi-Year Event Contract with inVNT
inVNT, a live events agency that enhances and supports brand messaging for companies and trade associations, announced that the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) selected it for a three-year contract to produce the organization’s numerous meetings and annual conference. SHRM is the world’s largest association dedicated to human resource management and represents more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries.
“We chose inVNT to be our events partner because of the team’s creativity, technological know-how, and event management and marketing expertise,” said Lisa Block, meetings and conferences director at SHRM. “inVNT’s vision for our events is directly aligned with our goals for growth.”
The agreement calls for inVNT to produce and manage a number of SHRM events including the Annual Conference & Exhibition, the SHRM Strategy Conference, the SHRM Diversity Conference and the Employment Law & Legislative Conference. inVNT also manages the headline entertainment and speaker programs for the hundreds of sessions held at these events, in addition to the environment design, staging and production services for each event.
inVNT has already produced a number of conferences for SHRM, including the 2009 Annual Conference & Exhibition, where inVNT used Twitter to facilitate a question-and-answer session with Jack Welch, the former General Electric chairman and CEO. Numerous attendees tweeted questions to Welch and were included in the session for his response.
