Hill & Partners Bet on IGT at 2015 NASPL Trade Show in Dallas
Hill & Partners’ team of branded environment specialists recently partnered with IGT, the world’s leading end-to-end gaming company, at the 2015 North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) trade show in Dallas, TX, October 12-15.
A client of Hill & Partners since 1996, GTECH announced in February 2015, that upon completion of a successful merger with International Game Technologies, the newly combined companies would adopt the name of IGT. The merger of GTECH and IGT brought together two blue chip companies in the global gaming industry and marked the beginning of a new chapter in Hill & Partners’ relationship with one of its most longstanding clients.
At the 2015 NASPL, Hill & Partners was tasked with developing an interactive space that incorporated an intentional flow to guide customers through the environment, from current offerings toward IGT’s future vision. The innovative design permitted the brand to display multiple product lines while optimizing customer engagement.
“It was central to IGT that the exhibit make an impression at the NASPL 2015 show, as to renew their vision and reinvigorate the brand following the merger,” said Hill & Partners President, Michael McMahon. “Our team created an amazingly interactive environment that was as much about the experience as it was about the architecture, with all features designed to keep customers engaged throughout the duration of the show.”
IGT’s 2015 NASPL booth consisted of an architecturally unique, 55x55 L-shaped exhibit space, enhanced with a modern style. Hill & Partners utilized various lighting configurations along with cutting edge audio-visual technology throughout the environment to create an exclusive look and feel.
The use of video was critical in the design as it generated life within the space and reflected IGT technology. High-definition displays were built into the architecture and extended throughout the entire environment including video walls used to broadcast branded digital content.
In addition to the numerous video screens throughout the IGT branded environment, the space boasted various interactive technological features including a Lift & Learn experience with two 10-foot tall displays, which allowed guests to learn about and compare instant ticket products; an embedded charging area; and a selfie station and a five-foot tall iPhone display used to communicate IGT solutions for mobile interactive technology.
Hill & Partners carefully considered and designed each detail of the environment with a strategic flow that drove customer engagement. From the space’s front entrance to the rear lounge, every component exuded the IGT brand and captured the attention of all in attendance.
