Digitell Welcomes William Carlson as VP of Business Development

Global events industry veteran, William Patrick Carlson, has joined Digitell as the Vice President of Business Development. As part of the Digitell leadership team, William will be developing a framework to best serve our current and future corporate, global, and enterprise clients. This addition to the management team signals Digitell’s continued commitment to provide the best software platform and professional services to broadcast live or prerecorded presentations, meetings, conferences, webinars, and events of any size to audiences around the world.
Carlson’s vision for expanding the reach of the events industry led him to Digitell’s CEO Jim Parker several years ago. After having lived and worked across North American and in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, William knew finding the leader in the virtual event space just miles from his hometown in Western NY state must be more than mere coincidence. With the past year having exposed the benefits of having a virtual outreach strategy, the time was right for William to bring his expertise to shape our growing partner ecosystem and reach new markets. Parker states, “We are thrilled that William is joining our team with his wealth of knowledge and experience serving the corporate market”.
Carlson’s brings over 22 years of industry experience, having served as Global Accounts Director and Vice President of Global Expansion at Gartner, in addition to previous roles at event research companies that include United Business Media and Obscura Digital. He is also currently active as an advisor for the Hult Prize. Carlson comments, “I am thrilled to join Digitell and work with the strong leadership team to support the ever-growing needs of our clients for digital and hybrid events.
