ORLANDO, FL – Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Doug Murray to the role of Managing Partner and Executive Vice President. This strategic advancement underscores ETP's commitment to expanding its leadership in the broad live communication experiences sector.
Doug Murray, a prominent figure in the video technology and live event industries, will now oversee global
marketing and business development efforts across all ETP brands. In his expanded role, Murray will manage the
UK-based brand Pixl and Event EQ in Columbia, MD, while spearheading initiatives to identify and execute new
acquisitions aligned with ETP’s growth strategy.
Murray brings a wealth of experience to this position, having previously founded Lititz PA based Upstage Video and ChoiceLIVE. Over 18 years, he pioneered large format video technology solutions for high-profile events, including PGA Tour events, major NFL, NBA, and MLB activations, and world-renowned concert tours with A-list artists. His innovative approach has significantly shaped the landscape of live event staging and video display technology.
In 2023, ChoiceLIVE's integration with ETP and Event EQ marked a pivotal moment in Murray’s career, as he took on the role of Managing Partner at Event EQ. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing Event EQ’s market presence and driving successful business development efforts within the conference and entertainment sectors. David John, President/COO of ETP, expressed his optimism about Murray’s new role: “Doug’s deep expertise and visionary leadership have already made a tremendous impact on our organization.
