The USA pavilion embraced the Expo’s theme, Design Future Society for Our Lives, with its own invitation: Imagine What We Can Create Together. Inspired by historic Japanese architecture, the pavilion celebrates the United States’ innovation, culture, and global exchange.
Located in the Grand Ring between the Forest of Tranquility and East Gate Entrance Plaza, the USA pavilion features two triangular buildings that form a central plaza with canyon-like LED screens displaying dynamic imagery of U.S. landmarks and daily life. The architectural centerpiece is a floating translucent cube, instantly recognizable from across the Expo grounds.
Inside, visitors embark on a vibrant exploration of the United States through immersive exhibitions. The pavilion’s mascot, Spark, guides guests through realms highlighting the country’s opportunity, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Exhibits showcase groundbreaking advances in agriculture, nanotechnology, advanced materials, and aerospace, underscoring the country’s global leadership and commitment to empowering lives. The experience crescendos in Launch, an immersive space accompanied by the musical anthem “Together,” encouraging visitors to join in shaping a brighter future.
Over 80 youth ambassadors from 45 states, speaking more than 20 languages, serve as cultural guides, embodying the welcoming and joyful spirit of the United States. Their presence enriches the visitor experience, making the pavilion open and inviting to all.
The pavilion’s hospitality is showcased in a full-service restaurant offering regional cuisine, including the Spark Burger. The open-air courtyard hosts live performances — from jazz and R&B to Native American hoop dancers — providing a lively cultural atmosphere.
A robust events program features performances, workshops, and interactive exhibits, celebrating U.S. innovation, collaboration, and culture. Through its immersive design, dynamic programming, and engaging hospitality, the USA pavilion invites visitors from around the world to experience the enduring spirit and limitless potential of the United States.
